Conditions of Participation

  1. All internal employees of ERGO Group AG (including former employees of ERGO Direkt), ERGO Reiseversicherung, Munich Re and MEAG are eligible to participate.
  2. ERGO reserves the right to disqualify participants without giving reasons and to exclude them from the DFB Cup prediction game. This applies in particular if participants attempt to manipulate the predictions or intentionally violate the terms and conditions of the competition or the rules.
  3. Participants may take part using one user ID only.
  4. The password must not be passed on to third parties.
  5. ERGO is authorised at any time to amend the terms and conditions and the rules and regulations without giving any reasons. The change will be announced on the DFB Cup prediction game pages and will not be explicitly sent to the participants by email.
  6. If there are any technical or legal impediments to the correct organisation of the competition, ERGO is entitled to terminate the competition at any time and without stating any reasons.
  7. The winners agree to allow their names to be published in connection with the competition and in the relevant intranets.
  8. If a winner does not contact ERGO by email within four weeks of being notified, the prize will be forfeited and will not be passed on to another contestant.
  9. If the prize is sent by post:
    Within 14 working days of the winner being notified, the prize will be dispatched to the shipping address in Germany provided by the winner. Delivery will only be made to a valid address in Germany. In the event of a return, ERGO will not attempt to deliver the prize again. If there is no response from the participant within 14 working days after unsuccessful delivery, the entitlement to the prize will lapse.
  10. ERGO accepts no liability for the publication of false information. It also assumes no liability if data entries in forms or emails do not meet the technical requirements and cannot therefore be recognized by the system.
  11. ERGO does not guarantee that participants can access the competition at all times. ERGO is not responsible for messages submitted too late or lost due to delays or disruptions to the Internet or the intranet, for problems or technical malfunctions in telephone, broadband or other networks, or for messages failing to arrive.
  12. The judges' decision is final and no appeal may be made.
  13. No cash alternative will be offered.
  14. The prizes will as a rule be sent to the private address of the winner, but can also be sent to the respective office address if so agreed.
  15. ERGO will use personal information exclusively for the purpose of organising the DFB Cup prediction game, for notifying the winners and publishing the names of the winners on the intranet. This data will be treated as strictly confidential and will not be passed on to third parties. With the exception of the names of the winners published on the intranet, the personal information used in the DFB Cup prediction game will be deleted immediately after notification of the winners and the prizes have been presented, and will not be used for advertising purposes.
